Incident Summary – Dayshift, 23rd April 2024

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

07:06 – Reeth

Crews from Reeth attended a residential premises due to flooding inside the property. The water was isolated prior to our arrival and crews provided advice.

07:30 – Selby

Crews from Selby assisted paramedics with patient care at a residential premises using crewpower.

14:19 – A1M Northbound J47 to J48

Crews from Harrogate, Boroughbridge and neighbouring brigade Wetherby responded to reports of wheels overheating on an articulated lorry. Crews assisted the driver to cool the wheels after the brakes had overheated. Advice was given to the driver and the incident was left with Highways on scene.
