Remembrance Sunday

On this Remembrance Sunday, we pay our respects to those who have sacrificed their lives for our country.
We remember and honour their bravery and selflessness.
Their sacrifice and service will never be forgotten and we are forever grateful for their courage and dedication to keeping our country safe and protected.
Our Chief Fire Officer Jonathan Dyson, will be attending the York Remembrance Sunday event and will be joined by local firefighters.
Crews from other local stations will also be attending events throughout the county and you may see some of our crews observing a two minutes’ silence today, however, this may not be at the same time as the rest of the nation due to operational commitments.
