Crew Manager – Harrogate

Applications are invited for the Crew Manager role – Harrogate. Although based at Harrogate, the contract of employment will require you to work in any post appropriate to your role at such other place of employment in the Authority's services as may be required. 

The starting salary will be £33,187.00 which is Crew Manager competent rate of pay.

The post is conditioned to the shift duty system, in accordance with the Scheme of Conditions of Service.

It will be part of the responsibilities and skills of your role for you to attend Training Courses.  From time to time, this will necessitate a change of duty.

You will be required to attend meetings appropriate to the responsibilities associated with your role. From time to time, this will necessitate a change of duty.  Annual leave, which would preclude you from attending, will not be approved following notification of the meeting date.  In exceptional circumstances, dispensation may be granted by your Group Manager.

To be eligible to apply for this post, applicants must meet the following criteria: -

  •  Be an existing Substantive Crew Manager, or;
  • have passed the Full Promotion Process (Band 1 and Band 2 candidates are eligible to apply in accordance with the current Promotion Policy).
  • In date for all operational training in line with your current service training policy
  • Have a satisfactory Personal Development Review, Appraisal or equivalent within the last year
  • Not be in possession of any formal disciplinary sanctions at the point of application
  • Not be subject to any formal development plans for performance related issues at point of application
  • Be medically fit to undertake the role of Crew Manager
  • Willing to undertake an enhanced (DBS) check
