Incident Summary Night Shift Wednesay 6th February 2019

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 York – Time of call 17:36

Crews from Acomb responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

 Colburn – Time of call 17:55

Crews from Colburn and Richmond responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to burnt toast

 South Otterington – Time of call 20:41

Northallerton crews responded to calls of a person trapped in a lift. Crews released unharmed using lift keys.

Brayton – Time of call 22:17

Selby crews responded to an automatic alarm activation. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Scarborough – Time of call 03:38

Crews from Scarborough attended a towel fire in the kitchen of a residential property. Crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the property using 1 hose reel, a positive pressure ventilation fan, a thermal imaging camera, lighting, 4 breathing apparatus and a bucket of water.

Scarborough – Time of call 05:08

Scarborough crews responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to a water leak.
