Incident Summary Day Shift Monday 22rd March 2019

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 

 

 

York – Time of call 08:10

 

Crews from York responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to contractors fumigating.

 

Acomb, York – Time of call 08:16

 

Acomb crews responded to a skip fire, crews extinguished using 1 hose reel.

 

Appleton Roebuck – Time of call 09:28

 

Crews from Acomb and York responded to a shipping container on fire, crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel.

 

Scarborough – Time of call 09:48

 

Scarborough crews responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to testing.

 

Scarborough – Time of call 10:57

 

Scarborough crews responded to calls of 3 people stuck in a lift. Crews released all using lifting keys.

 

Northallerton – Time of call 11:39

 

Northallerton crews responded to a wheelie bin on fire next a residential property. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel and thermal imaging camera.

 

York – Time of call 11:42

 

Acomb crews responded to a 2 vehicle road traffic collision, crews released 1 female who was taken to hospital via ambulance crews. Crews used. 2 sets of hydraulic cutting gear, stabilization equipment and a sharps kit.

 

Blubberhouses – Time of call 13:47

 

Crews from Summerbridge responded to calls of a fire seen in the open, this was a false alarm due to controlled burning.

 

Alne – Time of call 15:14

 

Crews from York, Huntington and Acomb responded to an agricultural vehicle and straw bales on fire.  Crews currently using 2 hose reel jets and1 breathing apparatus. Incident still on going.

 

York – Time of call 15:40

 

Crews from Acomb responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
