Incident Summary Night Shift Thursday 8th February 2019

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 York – Time of call 17:59

Crews from York, Huntington and Acomb responded to a call of smoke inside a residential property, this was a false alarm due to an over heated boiler causing steam.

York – Time of call 21:15

Crews from York responded to a call of 2 people stuck in a lift, crews released them unharmed using lift keys.

Hetton – Time of call 21:39

Crews from Grassington responded to an automatic fire alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to fumes from an oil burner.

 Bentham – Time of call 22:54

Crews from Bentham responded to an automatic fire alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to an electrical fault.

Northallerton  - Time of call 23:02

Crews from Northallerton responded to an automatic fire alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Whitby – Time of call 23:36

Whitby crews responded to calls of a fire in the open. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning under supervision.

 York – Time of call 23:54

Crews from Acomb responded to calls of an automatic fire alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to a break glass point being broken
